- Design, code, and test business systems to address client needs

Required background
- Licensed to teach Certified Scrum courses, Professional Scrum courses, or Scaled Agile Framework courses
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and is up-to-date with recent Scrum Guide changes
- Strong knowledge of agile software development practices
- 2 - 4 years coaching agile teams in a variety of settings
- Comfortable leading and influencing without authority
- Self-starter, highly motivated to learn
- Team player, comfortable working with others on a consulting team to deliver
- Can think big picture and work well with details
- Public speaking or classroom training experience
- Can travel, sometimes as much as 100%
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

- 5+ years experience being an agile coach
- Licensed trainer of any agile framework
- Experience working on a distributed team
- Is located in Chicago, IL
- Software development background, ideally as a developer
- Experience being a Scrum Master and/or Product Owner
- Understands modern software craftsmanship techniques that help agile teams
- Understands agile frameworks other than Scrum
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- A desire to share knowledge and be a thought leader
- Working knowledge of DevOps concepts
- Experienced in the business of consulting
- Strong business knowledge
- Formal technical and business education (MIS, MBA, etc…)
- Comfortable playing teacher, mentor, or advisor to clients and not just a coach
- Holds PSM I, PSM II, PSPO, or other relevant certifications
- An in-depth understanding of at least one agile scaling framework (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, etc..)
